It is never easy planning a funeral especially if it is one's Mother. Stephen Semple was absolutely brilliant. Through out the process he remained just a phone call away. We had an issue with the Coroner's office which Stephen stepped into and resolved instantly. He demonstrated extreme empathy, understanding and sensitivity, giving us ample time to get back to him with information and details that were required. We had a clear picture of what we wanted on the day and Stephen helped us achieve this vision with such warmth and humanity. It was as if he knew our Mother personally. I cannot express my gratitude and appreciation for Mr Semple's high degree of professionalism which made an otherwise sad occasion a beautiful tribute and celebration of our Mother's life. The itself day went so well without one single hitch.
We were given Stephen as our funeral arranger and he came to our home to discuss everything. From the moment we met him we felt at ease. Stephen then mentioned that he was a celebrant so we decided to use him to conduct the cremation ceremony itself.
Stephen kept us updated in the run up to the funeral and guided us through and answered questions as they arose. He also helped arrange a viewing for the family.
The itself day went so well without one single hitch. It was a fantastic celebration of my father’s life and Im sure my dad would have loved it himself. Stephen was a great celebrant and everyone I spoke to afterwards said how great he was so thank you once again!

Stephen, T and Liz were the dream team. From the very start they helped us to feel at ease in a situation that was overwhelming. Being able to contact them whenever a question surfaced was reassuring. Their regular check ins were authentic and made us feel seen and heard. It was such wonderful to work with Fenix funeral. Stephen was brilliant and so compassionate, polite, understanding and respectful. He wanted the best thing for our mum as if it was his own mum. This touch our family greatly. Communications between us were brilliant as well. Every details were being explained to us. Mum was treated with respect and the funeral parlour was beautiful and a great thank you to the lady who help us dress our mum, she was taking great care of her and wanted her to look beautiful.
